Announcing the StaxUP Storage Ugly Sweater Contest

Attention self storage residents! From now until December 12, 2017, all StaxUP Storage facilities in Southern California are participating in an ugly sweater contest to celebrate the holidays!

“People have ugly sweater parties all the time and we thought it would be fun. Something we could do that was holiday themed that included not just our team, but our customers,” said the Vice President of Self Storage Operations.

Both residents and StaxUP Storage team members were encouraged to wear their ugliest sweater into the facility, take a picture, and be entered into the contest.

There were separate prizes for both residents and team members, including a $50 rent credit for the current customers with the ugliest sweaters. The top team members with the ugliest sweaters received gift cards.

“I do have an ugly sweater.” said StaxUP Storage District Manager. “Basically, it just has a lot of ornaments on it. It’s green and I just sewed the ornaments on there to make my own ugly sweater. I was trying to put some locks on there, but they were too heavy. I wanted to stick with the theme of self storage, but they would just not stay on, so what I’m going to do is print out some pictures of a disc lock and sew those into the sweater too. My ugly sweater is a mix of a Christmas tree and self storage supplies!”

On the day winners are announced, each facility will offer refreshments and sweets including hot apple cider, hot chocolate, cookies, and other candy.
